"...it gave the wedding such a Unique feel."

Our first PEWS City Wedding was a show stopper!

This sweet couple knew they wanted pews from the very beginning of the planning process. It was a joy to work with Taylor and her great sense of style for her One of a Kind Wedding Day!

Thanks to Jennifer Blair Photography we have some amazing photos of this Classic Southern Wedding at Fort Conde Inn in Mobile, Alabama. Enjoy these photos and look below to see what this happy bride thought about having PEWS as her ceremony seating!

Thoughts from our Beautiful Bride:

How did you first find PEWS?

I searched all over Alabama, Georgia, and Mississippi for church pews and stumbled upon PEWS on the internet and loved what you guys had to offer.

Why did you choose church pews for your wedding?

I wanted a unique outside wedding and I knew that church pews would be the perfect touch.

What was your first thought when you saw the pews set up for your ceremony?

It was exactly what I had envisioned in my head.

What did some of your guests say about the pews?

They absolutely loved the touch it gave the ceremony and reception areas.

Also, they felt that it gave the wedding such a unique feel.

What would you say to brides who are considering renting church pews for their ceremony seating?

Church pews are the perfect touch to add to your wedding day. They will make such a statement on your big day.

The Tree of Life in Audubon Park, New Orleans

The best kind of phone call I am blessed to receive is "we are calling you first because we really want to have your pews at our wedding..." Not only was that Dawn's story but it got even more precious: "My father and I had a picnic exactly one year before my wedding day,  under the tree he will give me away...we talked about the pews and how much they would add to the ceremony..."

That year definitely flew by for P.E.W.S. and March 6th, 2013 came quickly! Dawn and James had such beautiful plans and family support to make this wedding one of a kind! They were married at sunset under The Tree of Life in Audubon Park in New Orleans, LA. By the time the ceremony was over they walked back down an aisle lit with sparklers and soft lighting. Could it be any more romantic or unique??

We are so happy for this couple and the family that they have surrounding them. They clearly are in love and surrounded by even more love!

Enjoy married life, you love birds!

Thank you to Andrew Arceri for these lovely photos.

Charleston Blog Loves P.E.W.S.

Running a small business has been such an unexpected, curious adventure. Daily there are some invigorating highs and humbling lows - but over all I am so thankful and honored to be doing what I am doing. Reaching out to brides while supplying historic church pews to provide a powerful impact on Southern ceremonies, annnnd getting to meeting other creatives in the Wedding Industry has been such a joy!

Receiving an e-mail of a P.E.W.S. fan wanting to share our business with Southern Brides is always a thrill - but even more so when it is from a talented photographer for a brand new, beautiful Charleston Blog: Coastal Bride. What an honor to be the first "Insider Interview" that Gillian has put together for her readers!

Hearing from Gillian Ellis and learning more about her Father-Daughter photography team, while getting to share more details about P.E.W.S. was such a pleasure! Please check our our feature:
